Terms of Service
Last updated 22 August 2026
These terms cover the oaslin.com website and the Fusion Query Connect software you can download from it. By downloading or using the software you accept them.
What the software is
Fusion Query Connect is a desktop SQL workspace for querying Oracle Fusion Cloud data. It runs on your machine and connects to systems you already have access to. We do not host your data, and we never see it.
Downloading and the password
The software is a free download and needs no account. Running it requires a password, which we email on request and which changes weekly. The details you give us when requesting it must be accurate.
The password is for you and the organisation you work for. Do not publish it. We may stop issuing it to an address that abuses the service, and we may change or withdraw the password scheme at any time.
Your licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the software for your own or your employer's internal business purposes. It is provided free of charge.
You may not:
- Sell, sublicense, rent or redistribute the software, or make it available to anyone outside your organisation.
- Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble it, except where the law expressly permits it despite this restriction.
- Remove or obscure any notice of ownership contained in it.
- Use it to access systems or data you are not authorised to access.
We keep all intellectual property rights in the software. This licence gives you permission to use it; it does not transfer ownership of anything.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for how you use the software against your own systems. In particular:
- Your credentials and your data are yours. The software connects using credentials you supply. Keep them safe.
- Queries do what you tell them to. You are responsible for what you run and what it changes. Test against non-production first.
- Back up. Keep your own backups. We hold no copy of your data and cannot restore anything.
- Follow your own rules. Your organisation's policies and the terms of your Oracle agreement still apply. Nothing here overrides them.
Free software, and what that means
The software is provided free of charge and “as is”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we give no warranties — express or implied — including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with your environment.
We are not obliged to provide support, updates or fixes, and we may change or discontinue the software at any time.
No liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability of any kind arising from your use of the software or this site. That includes, without limitation: direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive or exemplary loss; loss of profit, revenue, goodwill, business or anticipated savings; loss, corruption or inaccuracy of data; business interruption; the cost of substitute software; and any damage to systems you connect the software to.
This applies however the loss arises — in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise — and applies even if we have been advised that such loss was possible. The software is supplied free of charge, and this allocation of risk is a condition of supplying it at no cost.
You use the software against your own systems and with your own credentials, and are solely responsible for what you run and what it changes.
Some liability cannot lawfully be excluded, and this clause does not attempt to. Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that applicable law does not permit to be excluded. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected. Where any part of this clause is held unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
Ending it
You can stop using the software at any time; delete it and the licence ends. We may withdraw your licence if you breach these terms, and may stop sending you the password. Sections on intellectual property, warranties, liability and governing law survive.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the software after a change means you accept it — so if a change matters to you, stop using it and tell us.
Governing law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. The courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with them, and you consent to that jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer resident outside India, you keep the protection of any mandatory consumer-protection laws of your own country that cannot be excluded by agreement.
